Cheltenham established itself as a centre for pleasure and leisure in 1788 with the visit of King George III to ‘take the waters’. Ever since then it has been enhancing its reputation as a pleasure town where the rich and famous come to enjoy the luxury of its salons, spas and treatments which await.
